My First Post

The last year has been tough, but things are looking up. Aurora is almost 4 years old! It's crazy to think that my little girl, who just yesterday was a little baby in my arms, is almost 4. She is the sweetest little girl, although I will admit that she does have my attitude sometimes. She starts Pre-K in the fall.

I just started a new job a couple weeks ago. I am a receptionist for a dental office. I really like it. It's a good job.

Brad is a student at the University of Central Oklahoma. He graduates next fall with a Bachelors of Music. Then he will begin his Masters in Jazz studies. I am very proud of him.
Ethan and Julian are doing well. Ethan is in third grade and Julian is Kindergarten. Ethan made the Honor Roll. I feel so lucky to be a part of their lives.
So, that's what we are up to. We had a crazy scare last month. I was bit by a spider (a brown reclus). It got infected and I ended up with a 6 inch wide and 2 inch deep hole in my leg. Then I ended up with MRSA Staph, which is the most deadliest and resistant to most antibiotics. I was hospitalized. It was very painful and I was on antibiotics for over a month. I'm okay, but I have a nasty scar on my leg.
I am about to become an aunt! My brother and his fiance, Angie Biggler, are due April 10th with a baby boy. They will name him Adrian. I am so excited and I am supposed to be in Washington once the baby boy is here.
I will write more soon.
